ECB TO HOLD INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (August 13, 2008) — Expert Clinical Benchmarks (ECB), the research and academic subsidiary of MedRisk, will hold its International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) meeting from Sept. 19 through 21. The 2008 annual meeting will be held at MedRisk’s headquarters in King of Prussia, Pa.

ISAB is an elite panel of world-renown physical medicine specialists who review treatments, outcomes, and the latest research and literature to ensure that MedRisk brings the highest quality of care to injured workers. This year, ISAB’s clinical focus is low back, cervical/thoracic, upper extremity, and lower extremity injuries. Work hardening, work conditioning and chiropractic care are also on the agenda. The panel will also examine the business of physical medicine, delving into patient satisfaction and its impact on recovery and on incorporating outcomes into treatment guidelines.
